Job Title: Field Inspector – Exterior Restorations and Insurance Claims Specialist

We are hiring a full-time Field Inspector – Exterior Restorations and Insurance Claims Specialist in Kansas City, KS.

Lenexa, KS

Work Hours (Shift)
Monday ‑Friday, 8:00am ‑ 6pm and Saturdays 9am - 2pm.

Pay (Hourly or Annual Salary)

$90k

Responsibilities

  • Inspecting roofs, siding, gutters, and exterior damage.

  • Climbing steep and multi-story roofs using ladders.

  • Taking measurements, photos, and detailed notes.

  • Meeting with insurance adjusters on-site.

  • Explaining and documenting the damage clearly to support insurance claims.

  • Using software like AccuLynx to organize inspection data.

  • Coordinating with project managers and restoration teams.

  • Helping move restoration projects from inspection to approval and production.

Skills and Abilities

  • Experience in roofing, construction, or insurance claims.

  • Comfort with heights and ladders.

  • Strong communication and organization.

  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather.

  • Confidence speaking with adjusters and homeowners.

Education and/or Experience

  • 18+ years of age.

  • Valid driver’s license.

  • Good driving record.

  • High school diploma.

  • Preferred - Familiarity with AccuLynx and prior experience with exterior restorations or insurance claim inspections.

Work Environment

  • Reliable transportation capable of hauling a ladder.

  • Ability to set up and climb ladders, inspect steep and multi-story roofs, and safely navigate exterior environments.

  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.

  • Comfortable climbing steep roofs (12' pitch and higher).
